EC3's hilarious take on Rockstar Spud leaving Impact Wrestling

British wrestler Rockstar Spud has left Impact Wrestling - but his friend EC3 saw the funny side of the situation.
Spud reportedly requested his release from the company after recently feuding with Swoggle, aka Hornswoggle in WWE .
Ethan Carter III - with whom Spud enjoyed an onscreen love/hate relationship in Impact - reacted with a hilarious tweet.
He poked fun at NXT star Lio Rush, who got in hot water for joking about Emma's release by WWE , after losing to Asuka at TLC.
Rush was slammed by his peers for tweeting: "I guess these are the things that happen when you're not TRULY ready for @WWEAsuka."
Cue EC3's witty take: "I guess these are the things that happen when you’re not TRULY ready for @wwehornswoggle in a Mumbai Street Fight. Bye @RockstarSpud"
The 34-year-old, from Birmingham, is unlikely to be short of job offers having made the most of whatever opportunities he was handed by Impact.
He could be a perfect fit for WWE's Cruiserweight Division on 205 Live, or lend some experience to a weekly WWE UK show, if it gets off the ground.
The 5ft 4in star was the first winner of TNA's reality competition series British Boot Camp back in 2013, which earned him a spot on the TNA roster.

He soon became then-TNA president Dixie Carter's 'Chief of Staff', helping her spoilt nephew, EC3, to success.
After EC3 publicly humiliated Spud for failing to prevent Bully Ray putting his aunt through a table, the upstart fought back.
He turned face and enjoyed a memorable feud with Carter that ended in him losing a hair versus hair match.
